Get ready for a summer full of fun and educational experiences for the whole family at the Fisheries and Maritime Museum.
All summer long, you can take part in activities that bring you up close to life in and around the sea. Meet the seals at our daily feedings, explore the aquarium, solve tasks together, and join us as we dissect a herring and examine what it looks like inside.
You can also try your hand at making your own bracelet or a lovely name board, and explore the fascinating Ocean Lab.
There are lots of activities for curious children and adults alike.

Start your visit by meeting our museum guide, who will share useful tips on how to enjoy the best possible day at the Fisheries and Maritime Museum.
Get a quick overview of today’s experiences, hear what you can look forward to, and get tips on everything from mermaids, fish and boats to treasure hunts and activities for the whole family.

Let your imagination run wild in Krealab
Krealab is the Fisheries and Maritime Museum’s creative oasis.
Here, you can colour in templates, make your own cardboard fish, or build sea creatures with Plus-Plus blocks. Maybe it will turn into a crab, a seal, or a cool new sea creature that no one has ever seen before?
Krealab is for children and adults who want to create and be creative together.
When: Every day from 11am to 5pm

Explore the museum
Can you find the animals in the aquarium, solve the tasks, and spot the small details that others might walk right past?
At our activity wall, you can choose from several fun activities for the whole family. Look for animals in the aquarium, try our origami fortune tellers, and explore together.
The activities give you new ways to experience the museum – and maybe you will spot something you would otherwise have missed.
