What to call the ship?
Would you like to see some of the many old boards with ship-names we have at the museum? We talk about why ships have names, and where the names come from. You will also get an opportunity to design and create your own nameboards.

The ocean laboratory
Join us in the ocean laboratory this Easter holidays and explore exciting eggs and treasures from the sea. You can get a close-up look at eggs and objects from various sea creatures through our microscopes. You are also welcome to bring your own finds from the ocean and the beach.
Our guide is ready to help you examine and identify your discoveries. Come on in and explore the fascinating world of the ocean!
